SKM Level 3 — Computer System Operation
IT-020-3:2013 · Learn to support computer systems: computer setup, system maintenance and repair, server installation and maintenance, network connectivity and mobile device configuration.
- Set up computer hardware, operating systems and peripheral devices for use.
- Configure the system according to its intended requirements.
- Carry out routine maintenance on computer hardware and systems.

DKM Level 4 — Computer System Administration
IT-020-4:2013 · Learn to administer IT infrastructure: server configuration, computer system security controls, computer system and network procurement, and network cabling management.
- Configure server settings and services according to organisational requirements.
- Manage server configurations that support users and network operations.
- Apply security controls to computer systems and servers.
- Manage system access and security settings to protect organisational IT resources.
- Determine computer system and network requirements.
- Support the selection and procurement of suitable IT equipment and resources.
- Plan and organise network cabling requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain structured cabling for computer network infrastructure.
